Our Sponsorships
We believe meaningful and effective sponsorships personalize our brand and allow us to connect with our communities. Take a look at some of the partnerships we have built over the years to help carry our brand integrity through multiple avenues.
Interstate Batteries and Joe Gibbs Racing have one of the longest-running, sponsor-owner relationships in NASCAR history – 26 continuous years and counting. From our first driver, Daytona 500 winner Dale Jarrett to Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Champion Bobby Labonte and today’s drivers, Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Champion Kyle Busch and NASCAR Xfinity Series Champion Daniel Suarez, we’ve proudly sponsored the No. 18 Interstate Batteries/M&M’s Toyota Camry since 1991.
Street-Legal Toyota Camry Fleet
This sponsorship program is a natural extension of our relationship with Joe Gibbs Racing and NASCAR. Interstate’s strategic partners currently drive 180 street-legal Camrys wrapped like our No. 18 Toyota all across North America making sales calls and small batteries deliveries. They also appear at community events like parades, seasonal celebrations and car shows growing brand awareness locally while growing battery sales.
JGRMX Supercross/Motocross
This is another extension of our relationship with Joe Gibbs Racing. Interstate Batteries is an associate sponsor of the Joe Gibbs Racing’s Supercross/Motocross team under the banner of the Autotrader/Suzuki/JGRMX team. JGRMX riders include Justin Brayton, Weston Peick, Phil Nicoletti and Matt Bisceglia.
Operation Appreciation
Interstate Batteries partners with the Salesmanship Club of Dallas to sponsor Operation Appreciation, the opening day of the AT&T Byron Nelson PGA tournament. This one-day event honors active duty and retired US military members by giving them the opportunity to play with North Texas golf professionals. Proceeds help support the Momentous Institute in Southern Dallas, a leading provider of therapeutic and education services impacting 6,000 kids and family members each year.
Celebrate Freedom
Interstate Batteries is proud to sponsor Celebrate Freedom, the largest free outdoor concert in America at the Dallas TV series’ Southfork Ranch. For more than 20 years, two Dallas powerhouses – KLTY 94.9 FM and Interstate Batteries – have put on one of the nation’s largest outdoor concerts. It’s a full day of fellowship and Christian music topped off by a spectacular fireworks show for 80,000 to 100,000 fans and families each year.
UTI – Universal Technical Institute
Interstate Batteries is the exclusive provider of automotive and diesel batteries and battery testers to all of Universal Technical Institute's (UTI) campuses. With more than 200,000 graduates in its 51-year history, UTI is the leading provider of transportation technician training and provides post-secondary education for students seeking careers as professional automotive, diesel, collision repair, motorcycle and marine technicians.
