You can jump-start a Dodge Journey using a remote terminal, a single stud with a red cap and a plus sign in the engine bay. That stud, found in any vehicle that has a battery not in the engine bay, gives you easy access to the battery when you need to jump-start your Dodge Journey.

- Look for a single red terminal with a plus sign. It’ll be near the edge of the engine bay.
- Connect the red clamp to it.
- Look for any other solid metal stud labeled with a negative sign.
- Connect the black clamp to that.
