The store is located in Swansea located across from the Swansea Mall on Route 118 and services both retail and commercial customers. Special discounts are available for commercial account employees, as well as students, current military/veterans, policemen and firemen. In addition to providing you the battery, the team will provide tips and suggestions for how to maintain the battery to ensure full use throughout its life. All batteries also come with a one-year warranty.

Owner Mike St.Don is a local businessman who has had the honor of serving, south eastern Mass, along with Cape Cod and the Islands with their battery needs for over 30 years. Mike with Chuck Trottier (store operations GM), have a combine experience of over 60 years in the battery industry in our area. I ordered a pair of custom battery cables and they came totally wrong. I received 2 negative cables the same length. I had given Brad the original cables to match the positive cable was originally much shorter and the negative cable was longer but not as long as the wrong one. I had to reorder the proper size cables they came in the next day. When I went back in to pick up the correct cables I demanded a refund for the inconvenience, the sales rep laughed in my face and she had a terrible attitude. She finally contacted Brad the manager and he offered me a ten dollar discount which I figured would do. However I only received four dollars and some change. I feel that Interstate battery has excellent products but there customer service Reps need some education on how to deal with customers. Thank you for your attention to this matter, Brad also stated that what difference would a couple inches make on a battery cable, they were two negative cables!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased a battery from this location at the very end of December 2017. The battery was put in my car by Henry. Since then, my car had a number of issues. I had issues with the automatic starter and had to get that replaced. My car continued to have a number of issues. I brought my car back to the dealer. They replaced the starter for which I had to pay $350. My car was still having issues. The dealership continued to work on my car. I was without my car for a month. Following an additional $900 repair, my car still had issues. I have been stranded a number of times as my car would not start up. I brought my car back to the dealer to get looked at. They told me that my battery was performing low. I brought my car back to Interstate. When I got there Henry came out and looked at my car. He said to the other sales associate that my car requires a larger battery. He said that usually the battery performance would be higher following a drive. When I asked what was going to be done Henry told me there was nothing that could be done because the battery was fine, even after he admitted my car had the wrong battery in it. He was trying to cover himself since he was the one who originally put the battery in the car. He refused to help me, even following all of these issues. It was not until my father came in to talk with them that they helped me. I cannot believe that you trust this employee with something as serious as working on cars. He was so unprofessional, I will continue to share my experience with anymore in the market looking for a new battery. Henry did not even so much as apologize for this huge mistake. The battery was not strong enough to start my car in the colder weather. I was told that if my car were being shipped to Texas then that's the battery they would have placed in my car. John and Kerry were the only helpful employees. Even after coming out to look at the battery, Kerry admitted that my battery wasn't performing at the level that it should be. Henry lied and said it was fine. I cannot believe that this issue was taken so lightly after I had over $1,000 worth of work on my car because of your incompetent employee's error.
