Well to start off I had outstanding customer service from the Interstate store located in San Diego CA off of Cabot Drive. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by Mr. Walter who was helping another customer at the time of my arrival and assured me that I would be helped as soon as he was done with the individual he was helping at the time. As soon as he was done helping the other customer he attended to me and asked what I need assistance with. I told him that my battery had died and he quickly ran a battery test for it and determined it needed to be replaced. As soon as he found out the battery needed to be replaced the process was quick from there, he took the battery out ensuring that that my vehicle still had some sort of power running it so the electronics in the vehicle dont reset. He put the battery in and I was in and out in less that 20 min from the time I arrived. I will definitely be recommending this store and use interstate for all my future battery replacement needs. Definitely a 10/10 for customer service from Mr Walter and great products.

I have heard good things about Interstate batteries and began using them decades ago. They have always been reliable and performed well. My mechanic usually installs the batteries for me, but my most recent purchase was through the Interstate Battery Center. I contacted the Center on two occasions before coming in for the replacement. On both occasions I had the pleasure of dealing with Oscar. He was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. When I came to the Center, I met him in person and he supervised Drayden's installation of the battery in my '95 BMW 325i. Due to the computerized electronics in my car, Oscar's expertise was required to complete the installation successfully. It was a pleasure dealing with both of them. I heartily recommend the services of Oscar and the Interstate Battery Center to anyone who needs a battery and values good customer service.

Would like to compliment the service at the Cabot Rd location in San Diego. I purchased a battery here 4 years ago (also a good experience). The battery "went dead" recently. I returned to the same location (follow your karma ;]) and the person working (can't recall name) checked it out, found "bad cell" and sold me another at the pro-rated rate. While not ideal that the battery did not reach its 6-year potential, the service was solid and I was able to walk away with a new battery for $90 beans plus tax. That said, I am curious what the most likely causes of a bad cell are; or if it may happen randomly. I've heard that a risk factor is needing to recharge a "dead" battery several times, however mine doesn't fall into that category. Also, I drive an old mercedes diesel which has virtually no electrics aside from lights, turn signals, and a cheap-o sony radio. In any event, the folks at Cabot Rd are doing a nice job.

Convenient store location, great customer service. Battery sales only, so short wait for installation.
