Really great that you offer a NiMH substitute for the discontinued NiCad battery for the Black and Decker VersaPak tools. Sales person Tom and 8045 were very helpful. Website is also tops, except for this battery TOL 7020 it should not refer to Fred Meyers, the good old neighborhood store, as they do not carry this battery.

My service experience was exceptional! I desperately needed a 12volt battery at 4:30 PM today, New Year's Eve day. I called this store, and the guy who checked to see if he had what I needed (I think his name was John) was amazingly helpful and patient, even though technically the store was scheduled to close at 4PM. I live about 10 minutes away, and he said they would keep the store open until I got there. UNBELIEVABLY KIND! On New Year's Eve! I arrived at the store at about 4:45 where Drew and John (a different John from the one with whom I had spoken on the phone)sold me the battery and patiently explained what I needed to do. They were both incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. It's so refreshing to have service that really is genuinely about helping people. I wish I needed batteries more frequently so I could support this store. I can't recommend it more highly.

Most of the batteries, I can get anywhere, BUT I do love how Interstate carries batteries for old tools that I'd otherwise have to order online because the hardware store that we purchased them at years ago only stock the newest technology in batteries. I also go in to see the owner Annette, and always look forward to seeing Matt and the other people who work there as well. They work as a team to find information for you and never make you feel like you are asking dumb questions (even when you are and you realize it when the words leave your mouth.). So, yes I might spend a little more on a battery every now and then but it's worth it to me to have them there because, while you can't buy genuine kindness and goodwill, when I find it locally I love to support it!

Excellent service and products, thank you Jon B, 7111. He was friendly, knowledgeable and able to help me right away. He carried the batteries to and from the car and answered all my questions. There were some items in the store that were priced significantly higher than available from other merchants online. I will willingly pay a small premium for items available locally in a physical store, but with price comparisons available at fingertips, you should be sure your prices are close. I would definitely recommend your shop.
