Then I asked to have a new battery for my key fob and they all struggled with trying to open it and I was rather concerned they were going to break it even though they said they do it all the time

Very friendly people at the store! The battery that I needed was readily available and the folks at the store were able to answer a couple questions that I had. The factory battery that came with my tractor had to be replaced three times under warranty within two years because their battery simply couldn't hold up under hard work but I've gotten over five years out of an Interstate battery without so much as a single problem!

The lady at the counter was very pleasant and accommodating. Kudos to her awesome customer service skills. I opted for installation WITH THE ASSURANCE the battery would be changed with power supplied so none of my settings would be lost and the factory Audi radio wouldn't be locked out in "SAFE" mode. I SPECIFICALLY said to the clerk and installer, to do this ONLY if the battery is not completely disconnected. Made that PERFECTLY CLEAR. TWO OR THREE TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unfortunately while I was in the waiting room, the kid who was doing the installation could not find the place to plug in his OBD power saver unit - he could have asked me but did not. So the battery was disconnected. I have had to call and email dozens of people at Audi because I do not know the code for the radio. It is a 1996 Audi A6 Quattro. THREE HOURS LATER AND I AM STILL STRUGGLING. It is locked out. Audi told me to REPLACE THE RADIO NOW!!!! $350 for a basic model - yikes. But even worse than that, the kid did NOT secure the battery!!!!!!!!! I WOBBLED left, right, up and down. Why didn't he tell me that???? Jesus. That took me over any hour to secure it solidly. I believe it is the wrong "size" battery for the location in the vehicle but he apparently didn't give a rats ...... Your installer needs some basic mechanical skills training there folks!!!!! Whatever - feeling kinda ripped off and cheated at $200 and half of my day for a half ass job and I may have to buy a radio now. DANG IT. Never would go there again. Sorry.
