With a track record of excellence and a passion for innovation, to say Grant knows about the speed, flexibility and transparency needed to streamline operations for multiple business units would be an understatement. Literally and figuratively, Grant is a change agent, a difference maker – and that’s how he measures success – because Grant believes, as Mark Twain said, “Wealth is not measured by one’s possessions, but by the influence you have on others.”
With more than 20 years of international operations experience that spans four continents, Grant joined Interstate in early 2015 after a series of tenured leadership roles with the Dr Pepper Snapple Group. With a degree in business economics from Witwatersrand Technikon (now University of Johannesburg, South Africa), and an MBA from the Open University Business School in London, it comes as no surprise that Grant ran franchise operations in over seven African countries, spear-headed several large mergers and acquisitions projects in Europe and ran operations for the Coca-Cola Amatil Company in Korea. Despite his remarkable experience, his eighth value* is humility – but perhaps his success is thanks to that.
Fun Fact: Grant isn’t your typical outdoorsman, either. If he weren’t working for Interstate, he would be cycling throughout Europe and scuba diving in the tropics … while living on a boat sailing around the world.
