I was really glad to find this battery. I could have bought a new phone for my parents but then there would have been the confusion of learning a new phone and all that that entails. The battery didn't fit until I cut the plastic at the top allowing me to pull the cord around to the plug in.

I was ready to ditch my older but wonderful Panasonic cordless phone/ answering machine. After trouble shooting some of the reasons it may not be working, I recalled that the phone has a battery in the handset. When I checked the battery, the expiration date was 2001. I hope I get six extra years from this battery pack, too!
