Norm Miller |
Norm Miller, chairman of Interstate Battery System of America started his career at his father's Interstate distributorship in Tennessee and by the early 1960s, moved to work for his mentor, company-founder John Searcy. Norm took his place at the helm of Interstate Batteries in 1978. He expanded the Interstate family of dealers to more than 200,000 across North America.
In addition to his marketing savvy, Norm is known for his strong Christian business principles, and often speaks to interested organizations around the country. Norm's faith defines who he is, and he and his management team offer a ministry to interested Interstate employees through a Corporate Chaplain Department.
Norm serves as a board member for Dallas Theological Seminary, Dallas Seminary Foundation and the Overseas Council. He is cofounder of the Great American Race, America's premier vintage car event for more than 25 years.

Carlos Sepulveda |
Carlos Sepulveda is President & CEO, a position he has held since 2004. He has also served as a director on the Board of Directors since 1995. Before becoming President & CEO, Carlos served the company in a variety of roles including Executive Vice President overseeing Marketing, E-Commerce, Financial, Legal and certain Sales & Distribution functional areas of the company and, prior to that, was Vice President & Chief Financial Officer.
When Carlos joined Interstate Batteries in 1990, he brought more than 10 years of experience gained in various roles with KPMG Peat Marwick Accounting Firm in Austin, New York City and San Francisco, where he had been an audit partner and designated an associate SEC reviewing partner.
Carlos received his Bachelor of Business Administration with highest honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 1979. He earned his CPA in 1981, and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Texas Society of CPAs. For several years now, Carlos has spoken to university and business audiences about a variety of Leadership and Personal Effectiveness topics. |

Dennis Brown |
Dennis Brown is vice president of Interstate’s marketing group. He started his career with Sears after attending Wayne State University. Later, he worked at Johnson Controls, where he focused on original equipment batteries and gained experience in battery manufacturing, battery design and battery quality standards and control.
Dennis joined Interstate in 1991 as director of national account sales. Next, he served as vice president of national account sales & marketing and vice president of marketing. |

Jeff Haddock |
Jeff Haddock, vice president of Interstate’s Independent Distributor Group (IDG), joined Interstate in 1980. In his 25-plus years at IBSA, Jeff has held various positions such as warehouse manager, hot-shot driver, route sales manager, national sales representative, regional sales manager, director of distributor sales and markets and vice president of distributor acquisitions and development. |

Billy Norris |
In 1979, Billy Norris started his career at Interstate Batteries as a hot-shot warehouse person. Later, he held the positions of route sales manager, national sales representative, director of distributor development and director of national accounts.
Now, as vice president of national accounts, Billy focuses on getting Interstate and its distributors in a position to grow in the retail world, while maintaining and growing the businesses the company has today. |

Scott Miller |
Scott Miller is vice president of Advertising and Public Relations. He graduated from Colorado Christian University in 1991 with a degree in business management.
Upon graduation, Scott joined the Interstate system and has held a variety of positions including national account executive and manager, independent distributor regional manager, director of marketing and director of Interstate-owned territories. |

Lisa Huntsberry |
Lisa Huntsberry, vice president of Interstate’s Corporate Accounting and Services team, earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Baylor University. She received her Certified Public Accountancy Certification in 1984.
Prior to joining Interstate in 1997 as a corporate controller, Lisa held positions with Arthur Andersen, Wyndham Hotels and American Airlines. When she first started at Interstate, Lisa supervised the Controllers Group, and later was given responsibility for the Financial Services Area, the All Battery Accounting Group and the Powercare Accounting Group. |

Walt Holmes |
Walt Holmes is vice president of Interstate’s PowerCare division. He also serves as general counsel for the organization. He graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Juris Doctorate degree from Baylor Law School.
Prior to joining Interstate in 1995, Walt worked for several Dallas law firms handling litigation, employment and insurance matters. |

Mickey Elam |
Mickey Elam is vice president of Interstate’s All Battery Group and e-commerce. He graduated from Baylor University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and joined Interstate in 2000.
Mickey previously worked with the public accounting firm KPMG and brings a 15-year commercial real estate background to Interstate. |

Merv Tarde |
Merv Tarde is vice president of Interstate’s Information Technology and Chief Information Officer. He graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics and minors in chemistry and astronomy.
Merv sets the strategic direction for IT and oversees all IT based networks, systems and resources serving customers throughout the Interstate Batteries System.
He is also responsible for Interstate’s office facilities and real estate. Prior to joining Interstate in 1998, he spent over 20 years in Telecom starting with Bell Laboratories and ending up with AT&T Wireless where he held several executive level positions. |

Alex Louis |
Alex Louis is vice president of Interstate’s company-owned distribution network, known as Interstate Owned Territories.
Prior to joining Interstate in 2001, Alex was involved in the private equity business working as a contract executive with early stage business formations and turnaround opportunities. He also worked as a management consultant specializing in operational improvement and marketing and strategic planning.
Since joining Interstate, he’s served as director of Interstate Battery Franchising and Development, vice president of All Battery and vice president of the Interstate Owned Territory Eastern Region.
Alex has a Bachelor of Science degree in political science from Southwestern University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Texas. |

Chris Antoniou |
Chris Antoniou joined Interstate in 2002 as the director of supply chain operations (All Battery), and now serves as the vice president of supply chain management. Before coming to Interstate, Chris worked for EDS, Ericsson and AT&T Wireless.
Chris’ background gave him the skills he uses to lead Interstate’s supply chain management group to be the best they can be. Every day, supply chain operations manages everything from out of the ground to the supplier to the customer — procurement, distribution, quality, customer service and the transportation inbound and outbound to the customer. |

Chris Willis |
Chris Willis is vice president of Human Resources and Counsel for the Interstate system. He graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1993 with a BA in Economics and a BA in Political Science. Additionally, he graduated from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1997 and began legal practice with Touchstone, Bernays, LLP.
Since joining Interstate in 2005, Chris has served as director of legal services, director of human resources and general counsel. |
